I shed a tear at you saying that you want your style to reflect the life you lived. Because same. It’s so beautiful. And Anthony will forever be the rockstar of my life. The reason why I even dared to be a chef once in my life was because of him.

I shed a tear writing it, probably a lot more than that. Tough to write but wow, couldn’t love him more. Bourdain, forever. 🖤

A very big soul he had (still has somewhere but not here).

It lives on with us. :)

Or at least, I like to think so.

Enjoyed this so much – I have been rewatching Parts Unknown and No Reservations lately, so this piece just came right in time. His style is so simple and such a signature!

I’m so glad! I was using one of his cookbooks yesterday 😋

This really got me🥹 I remember reading Kitchen Confidential and devouring every morsel of his words. He’s very underrated for his style, so I’m so glad he’s getting the attention as the style icon he truly was. Thank you for this thoughtful and respectful breakdown.

I’m so glad you loved it and I feel the exact same way. Long live Bourdain 🖤

The section about The Ghost hit me hard. I haven't thought about clothing that way before.

This is a great article, thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much, I’d love to know what resonated the most, if you don’t mind sharing. The Ghost is a hard archetype to talk about but it’s necessary, we’re all merely human.

I haven't previously thought about looking back at how our style evolves over time and can influence who we ultimately become.
